DENMARK WALKING STICKS|
Wooden walking & exercising sticks, hand made by Don Reed
Whether hiking through a mountain trail or treking in the urban jungle, a Denmark Walking Stick provides support and comfort, protection and inspiration. Like a steady friend, a Denmark Walking Stick is a companion for life.
Each walking stick is around 48 inches long. The woods are mostly moosewood and birch, as well as oak, poplar and maple. Some sticks have carvings, like spirals or rings, and every stick is lovingly hand-sanded. They are coated with either high-gloss, semi-gloss or matte polyurethane finish. A hole is drilled through the handle for a dark-leather strap, and black rubber tips are wedged onto the bottom tip. Each stick weighs roughly 1 to 2 pounds.
